He graduated from Istanbul University's Department of Radio, Television and Cinema with his thesis titled 'The Concept of Dreams in Cinema: The Case of Luis Buñuel' and his documentary project 'The Stranger' (Yabancı). His short films "A Butterfly's Suicide Attempts" (Bir Kelebeğin İntihar Denemeleri, 2012), "A Man Called Harun" (Harun Diye Bir Adam, 2016), and "Tor" (2019) were screened and received awards at numerous national and international film festivals. "Stone and Feather" (Taş ve Tüy, 2026) is his debut feature film.
